Itinerary

Day 1-Arrive Damascus airport, visa and transfer to your hotel, overnight in Damascus.

Day 2- full day in Damascus, visits include: the old city, the National Museum, Ananias & St Paul church, Azem Palace, the straight street(where St Paul was converted), souk Al Hamidiyeh and Omayyad Mosque. Overnight in Damascus.

Day 3- Drive to Maloula (small Christian village where people still speaks Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ), drive to Krak Des Chevaliers castle (fortress of the knights) the majestic Crusader fortress Lawrence of Arabia called it “the finest castle in the world”, drive through lush green mountain to visit the Monastery of St. George, over night at Alwady area.

Day 4- Drive to Hama (well known for its enormous water wheels ‘Norias’ on the Orontes), visit Apamea (Roman ruins notable for its exceptionally long Roman street, lined with classical columns),  drive to Lattakia and stay overnight.

Day 5- Drive through mountain area to visit Saladin castle then drive to Aleppo, overnight in Aleppo.

Day 6- Morning visit to St. Simeon (well-preserved Byzantine monastery), afternoon tour of Aleppo (The Citadel-garden and Souk, visit to the Christian Quarters).

Day 7- Drive to Palmyra for an afternoon tour this magnificent site is most notable today for its breathtaking displays of Roman architecture in the form of its Great Colonnade, amphitheatre, Temple of Bel, Valley of Tombs.  Stay overnight in Palmyra.

Day 8- Continue sightseeing in Palmyra, drive to Damascus.  

Day 9- Transfer to Damascus airport-Departure.
